In the Morning (I'll be coming down)
One of a number of live videos released in anticipation of the release of Flatlands, In the Morning deals with themes of grief and loss. It was written during Kai's time sofa surfing in Brighton in collaboration with Tom Dwyer, who features in the video.
Flatlands Music Video
Released on the Spring equinox of 2021, Flatlands is a celebration of growth and rebirth and the loosing of the shackles of winter. The video uses home video footage from Italy in the 60's and 70's and adds context to the lyrical themes.
Peacemeal
The title track of the Peacmeal EP. We wanted to create a visually grotesque and unsettling music video, violently juxtaposing sugary sweet imagery with raw meat. The lyrics deal with naiveté and absurdity of both pro and anti war propaganda.
You Deserve
This video was filmed on a balcony in Valencia, a few minutes after the song was first written, capturing it in its pure, unedited state. It discusses coming to terms with ones own authentic needs, in defiance of external pressures.
